What is EditPublishSell?
A three-step service for authors. Step 1 edits your book: proofread, polish, a big-picture report, or AI-written missing chapters. Step 2 makes an ebook and an audiobook. Step 3 writes your Kindle store page. You choose what you need.
Do I have to use all three steps?
No. Pick any one thing or all of them. You can add more later from your book page.
What file can I give you?
Paste your text, or choose a Word (.docx), .txt or .md file. Up to 150,000 words. Chapter titles on their own lines help us find your chapters. If there are none, we cut the book into parts.
What is the difference between Proofread and Polish?
A proofread fixes spelling, commas, doubled words and typos. A polish also smooths clumsy sentences and trims repeated words, keeping your words and your voice. Neither adds new facts.
Can I see the changes?
Yes. You get your edited book as a clean Word file and as a Word file with every change marked, so you can accept or reject each one in Word. Before you pay, you can see a free sample of your own pages.
What is the big-picture report?
A written read of your whole book: what is working, where it drags, what is confusing or missing, and where names or dates do not match. It does not change your text.
How does Finish the book work?
You answer a few short questions, such as how it should end. Then AI writes the missing chapters in your voice, using only the facts in your book and your answers. Where it needs a fact only you know, it leaves a clear note in square brackets. You can ask for any chapter again, a limited number of times.
Does the AI make things up?
It is told not to, but any AI can make mistakes. Read everything before you publish. Check every name, date and claim in new chapters.
What do I have to tell Amazon about AI?
Amazon asks whether text, images or translations were AI-generated. As Amazon describes it, AI-generated content must be reported, and using AI only to edit or refine your own writing is not. New chapters written by AI count as AI-generated. Your store page kit tells you what to answer for your order. Rules can change, so read Amazon's page before you publish.
Can I sell the audiobook?
It depends on the store. Some stores, including Audible's self-publishing service, ask for human narration. Others accept AI voices with a label. We explain this in our guide, and the store decides.
What do I get for the audiobook?
One MP3 file per chapter, in the voice and speed you pick, plus a zip of all of them. You can hear a voice on your own words before you pay.
What do I get for the ebook?
An EPUB file with a title page, contents and a cover. Pick one of our covers or upload your own picture. EPUB works with Kindle and most other stores.
Is there a print version?
Not yet. We are working on a print-ready file.
How long does it take?
Most work finishes within an hour or two. A long book with an audiobook can take longer. You can close the page. We email you the link, and the page shows progress when you come back.
How long is my book kept?
Never-paid books are deleted after 3 hours. After you pay, your files are kept 30 days after the work is finished, and then everything is deleted. You can delete your book yourself at any time.
Is my book private? Do you train AI on it?
Your book is stored in a private folder with a long secret link. We do not train AI on it, we do not sell it, and the AI services we use are used only to do your work.
What if something is wrong?
If a step fails, press Try again on your book page. If something we made has a real problem, tell us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund you. We do not refund because you changed your mind about the result.
Is paying safe?
Yes. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.
